The Antelope
Valley is a beautiful hi-desert community in the northern part of Los
Angeles County. This is a great place to live or visit often.
The Heritage of the Old West
A few miles from Silver Saddle
is the old mining town, Randsburg, surrounded by gold and
silver mines. A museum is open to the public on weekends.
Visiting the old drug store, soda fountain, hotel and shops is
like stepping back into time.
The famous trail used by the
twenty mule team borax wagons from 1883-1889 which carried ore
across the desert passes right through Silver Saddle.
From the ranch, it’s a short drive to Boron, the borax capital
of the world. These fascinating ghost towns and mining
communities accent our valley with a reverence of the old
West.
