Silver Saddle Ranch is located in California City. Our home town is nestled in the Fremont Valley which is in the north end of Antelope Valley. We would like you to know more about our historic and rustic community.

With a beautiful moderate climate, California City, California is filled with things to do. One of the major attractions is beautiful Tierra Del Sol, a year-round golf course which will play approximately 6,800 yards from the championship tees.

California City is located a short 120 miles from Los Angeles, only 220 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada and a short ride to Mexico. Any way you look at it, California City offers something for everyone.

Another attraction you will definitely enjoy is Central Park, which has numerous activities for everyone, including an 18 acre lake, a marina, a sports center, as well as tennis courts, and another year-round golf course.

Edwards Air Force Base is only minutes away and has been seen around the world during numerous shuttle landings in the United States.

The Heritage of the Old West

A few miles from Silver Saddle is the old mining town, Randsburg, surrounded by gold and silver mines. A museum is open to the public on weekends. Visiting the old drug store, soda fountain, hotel and shops is like stepping back into time.

The famous trail used by the twenty mule team borax wagons from 1883-1889 which carried ore across the desert passes right through Silver Saddle.

From the ranch, it’s a short drive to Boron, the borax capital of the world. These fascinating ghost towns and mining communities accent our valley with a reverence of the old West.
